The Southern Sydney Freight Line (SSFL) is a railway line under construction in the south-western suburbs of Sydney. The project involves constructing a new freight line running parallel to the existing Main South Line between Sefton and Macarthur railway stations. Approval was obtained in October 2008 and construction commenced in early 2009.

Mitchell Land Surveyors have been engaged to carry out surveying work on the SSFL project which is over 35km long. Our involvement includes survey work for the upgrade of 10 railway stations and their surrounding precincts.
